33 Auction 2018 Singapore Art Week Auction of Modern and Contemporary Art offers exquisite artworks by Singaporean, Indonesian, Southeast Asian, Chinese as well as Western artists culled from important private and institutional collections.

Highlights include a fresh-to-market cubist style Chinese ink painting of Kelong by Cheong Soo Pieng, a unique subject matter of traditional masks by Lim Tze Peng, and an abstraction of Frequency Waves by Anthony Poon. Two striking compositions of curvaceous sculptures by modernist sculptor Ng Eng Teng from a private Singapore collector offers a rare opportunity to acquire a work by the artist which are seldom seen in the market unless collections in the museum. A group of Chinese modern to contemporary ink works by Chinese artists Zhao Shao Ang, Shi Hu and Li FuYuan will likewise appeal to ink-lovers​ for their poetic aesthetic.

BUYER’S PREMIUM
A Buyer’s Premium will be added to the hammer price and is payable by the buyer as part of the total purchase price. The buyer’s premium is 22% on the first SGD 200,000 of the hammer price of each lot plus 18% on the amount in excess of SGD 200,000.

Lots indicated in the printed catalogue with the sign + before the lot number or in the digital catalogue with G-suffix in the lot number will have GST charged on the hammer price and will be payable by the buyer.
