2019 Singapore Autumn Auction | Modern & Contemporary Art (SG030)

33 Auction is proud to present 2019 Singapore Autumn Auction of Modern and Contemporary Art happening on 8 December 2019 from 2 pm at Hilton Singapore. Leading the auction is a selection of ink works by Nanyang masters Chen Wen Hsi and Cheong Soo Pieng, along with an exclusive selection of works on canvas and pottery by Singaporean modern pioneers Lim Tze Peng, Iskandar Jalil, Teo Eng Seng, Aw Tee Hong, and many more. This auction will also feature a range of works by venerated artists in Southeast-Asia such as Le Pho, Lee Man Fong, Theo Meier, Aung Kyaw Htet, Popo Iskandar, among others. In addition, this autumn auction presents a selection of thought-provoking works by contemporary Indonesian and Malaysian artists from distinguished estate collection that guarantees a visceral experience for all.

For the first time ever, 33 Auction is bringing a selection of Pop Art works celebrating the legendary father of pop culture, Andy Warhol. Alongside are works by contemporary international blockbuster artists such as Damien Hirst, Sohan Qadri, Chen Wenling, Russell Young, as well as a fine selection of limited-edition Supreme skate decks. BUYER’S PREMIUM
A Buyer’s Premium will be added to the hammer price and is payable by the buyer as part of the total purchase price. The buyer’s premium is 22% on the first SGD 200,000 of the hammer price of each lot plus 18% on the amount in excess of SGD 200,000.

GST
Lots indicated in the printed catalogue with the sign + before the lot number or in the digital catalogue with G-suffix in the lot number will have GST charged on the hammer price and will be payable by the buyer.
