2024 Autumn Sale: Modern & Contemporary Art and Jewellery Live Auction (SG036)

33 Auction is pleased to announce our second cross-category live auction for both Modern & Contemporary Art and Jewellery. Art and luxury enthusiasts will converge on 17 Nov 2024 at the Hilton Singapore Orchard to witness the selection of rare and exquisite pieces of art and jewellery going under the hammer. At the heart of this auction lies a rich tapestry of human creativity and innovation. Each item up for bid tells a story, whether it’s a meticulously carved sculpture, an exquisite diamond necklace, a canvas alive with vibrant colors or a painting under-priced by the market.

The Modern & Contemporary Art session presents a selection of Indonesian Modern artworks by renowned modern maestro artists: Affandi, Hendra Gunawan, But Mochtar, and Srihadi Soedarsono, accompanied by selection of highly desirable works by Singaporean artists like Chen Wen Hsi, Tan Choh Tee, Ong Kim Seng, Ang Ah Tee, and more. An exquisite selection of Indo-European paintings by Adrien Jean Le Mayeur De Merpres and Arie Smit, will also be a feature of this auction. We will also be offering a group of works by Tran Luu Hau, Dang Xuan Hoa from Vietnam as well as Zhou Chunya, Shi Hu, Xue Song, Zhou Tiehai and many other artists from China.

The Jewellery session showcases an exquisite curation of vintage brooches and bracelets, radiant contemporary jadeite pieces, and classic precious gemstones including pigeon’s blood rubies, Colombian emeralds, velvety sapphires and juicy coloured diamonds. Highlight of the sale is a one-of-a-kind 10ct heart-shaped ruby that epitomizes the love, vitality and value.
